By configuring their device to transmit location data, swimmers and support team members can enable friends and family to track their progress throughout the swim.
The application utilizes your device's GPS functionality both in foreground and background modes to accurately record your position.
Users have the option to disable GPS usage by adjusting the Location Services settings to "Never" through Settings -> Rotto Swim -> Location.
Please be aware that prolonged use of GPS in the background can significantly reduce battery life.
